Wade Graveside services for Bevily P. Wade, 69, of Thackerville, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Thackerville, with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating. Mrs. Wade was born September 25, 1931, in Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of Clifford Lee and Minnie Marie Ringo Ford. She died Sunday, February 25, 2001, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta. She had lived in Love County since August 1972. She and Johnny "Jiggs" Wade were married July 2, 1955, in Gainesville. Mrs. Wade retired from Marietta Sportswear after 10 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 1922, of Gainesville, and enjoyed cooking. Mrs. Wade was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include her husband, Johnny of the home; two sons and daughters-in- law, Roy W. and Georgia Wade and Dale Gene and Midge Wade, all of Thackerville; one sister, Zellen Cook of Cass City, Michigan; four grandchildren, Olivia Chrisman of Yates Center, Kansas, and Johnny W. Wade, Jeri R. Wade and Blake E. Wade, all of Thackerville; five stepgrandchildren, Chris Jones of Thackerville, Kimberly Watrous of Southmayd, Texas, Theresa Wilson of Whitesboro, Texas, Tammy West Morgan of Gainesville and David West, also of Whitesboro; three great-grandchildren, Chessa Nicole Wade, Tyler Wade and Cooper Wade. Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Tillman R. Ford; sister, Helen Rankins; and grandson, Smokey Robert Wade. Services were under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.
