Ben Coffey

Ben Coffey, 82, of Amarillo, died Monday, June 14, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in San Jacinto Baptist Church 
with Dr. Stan Coffey and the Rev. Lawrence Miller officiating. 
Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mr. Coffey was born in Aubrey. He owned and operated a service 
station and had been a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church since 
1950.

He married Florine Coffey in 1940 at Marietta, Okla. He was preceded 
in death by a son, Ronald Ben Coffey.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Gayla Bloxom of Lubbock; a 
brother, D.A. Coffey of Aubrey; and a granddaughter.

The family suggests memorials be to San Jacinto Baptist Church, 801 
Tascosa Rd., Amarillo, TX 79124.
