Bingham officiating. Mrs. Diggs was born April 5, 1920 in Wayne, the daughter of Jot and Jesse Hobson Bennett. She died Thursday, April 6, 2000. She and Lloyd Diggs were married October 9, 1937 in Sulphur. He preceded her in death July 24, 1997. Mrs. Diggs was a member of the Church of Christ in Marietta and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jim Diggs of Marietta and Bob and Peggy Diggs of Marietta; three grand-children; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children; a brother, Jack Bennett of Purcell; and five sisters, Daisy Ballard and Patricia McGowen, both of Purcell, Sue Toy of Wichita, Kansas, Elmo Helton of Carlsbad, California, and Norma Phyllis Reid of Greenleaf, Indiana.
