Ullmann Services for Fred W. Ullmann, 56, of Lindsay, Texas, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 21, in the Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Gainesville, Texas, with the Rev. Bill Ledbetter of the First Baptist Church, Muenster, Texas, officiating. Mr. Ullmann was born June 27, 1945, in Ardmore, the son of Frederick W. and Gladys Waldo Ullmann. He died July 19, 2001, at his residence. He and Kathy McGowan were married July 16, 1966, in Gainesville. Mr. Ullmann was a dispatcher for The Santa Fe Railroad for more than 36 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Muenster. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Ullmann; a son, Jason Ullmann of Dallas, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and David Brown of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Cody Brown and Matthew Brown; a brother, John Ullmann of Thackerville; an uncle, George Ullmann of Marion, Texas; and two aunts, Gerta Geray of Gainesville and Wilma Easley of Marietta. Mr. Ullmann was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Amber Brown. Pallbearers were J.D. Blankenship, Glenn Pullen, Mack Standard, Richard Shaver, Ronnie Porter and John Russell. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home, Gainesville. Memorial contributions may be made to Cooke County Home Hospice, P.O.
