Mrs. Freeman was born June 18, 1911, at Dexter, Texas, the daughter of Oscar and Mary Lou Butts Pratt, and died March 5, 1997, in an Ardmore nursing home. A resident of Love County most of her life, she married Rube Freeman March 3, 1928, in Marietta. Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker and a member of the Marietta Church of Christ. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Jo Sharp of Plano, Texas, Brenda Minyard of Yukon and Debbie McAbee of Lewisville, Texas; two sisters, Carrie York and Mary Louise Cheek of Ardmore; seven grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband on August 19, 1980; and two brothers, J.B. Pratt on July 25, 1994, and Austin Pratt in 1925. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery was directed by Kennedy Funeral Home with Jeffery McAbee, Ken Goode, Kevin Campbell, Scott Vinson, Mark Labeth and Gary Smith serving as casket bearers.
