Doris Couch and the Rev. Ronnie Harris officiating. Mr. Pratt was born July 25, 1952, at Gainesville, Texas, the son of Raymond Lee and Maxie Belle Koonce Pratt. He died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, in Denton County, Texas. Mr. Pratt had lived in Thackerville one year and had been a resident of Burleson, Texas, for 30 years. He and Tanya Bradfield were married March 21, 1985, in Burleson. Mr. Pratt graduated from Boyd High School in Boyd, Texas, in 1970, where he was a member of the FFA Chapter and enjoyed exhibiting animals. He attended Weatherford College, Weatherford, Texas. Mr. Pratt owned Pratt's Bait & Tackle in Marietta for one year and had been employed by Lone Star Gas Company and Texas Utilities for 29 years. At the time of his death, he was employed as a pipeline specialist for Oncore-Texas Utilities. Mr. Pratt was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Tanya Pratt of the home; father, Raymond Lee Pratt of Marietta; mother and step-father, Maxie and Charles Holder of Marietta; and two sons, Benjamin Derek Pratt of Fort Worth, Texas, and Lee Allan "Bucky" Pratt of the home. Pallbearers were Ron Sisk, Lee Bradshaw, Burt Frye, Everett Logan, Kurt Eagle and Ray Don Lucas.
