Hilton Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Ellen Hilton were conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the Thackerville School auditorium with the Rev. C.E. Means officiating. Mrs. Hilton died November 16 in Ardmore following a lengthy illness. She was born October 21, 1897 at Burneyville, Indian Territory and lived in Love county her intire life. She was married to Charlie E Hilton and had been a member of the pentecostal Holiness Church at Thackerville for many years. Those surviving are her husband Charlie E. Hilton of the home; six sons, newt Hilton of Marietta, Robert Hilton of California, Roy Hilton of Ventura, Calif., George Hilton of Palmdale, Calif., Virgil Hilton of Oxnard, Calif., and Dave Hilton of Bakersfield, California; four daughters, Mrs. R.L. Webster of Palmdale, Calif. Mrs. Maggie Woodruff of Beebe, Arkansas, Mrs. Ella Dunlap of Saugus, Calif., and Mrs. C.R. Vreeland of Landcaster, Calif.; Also two brothers, Doc Elliot of Marietta, and Bert Elliot of Anadarko; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Flemmings of Healdton and Mrs. Vera Anglin of Oregon; 37 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery was under the direction of Goodrich Funeral Home. Serving as casket bearers were Charels Webster, Sonny Woodruff, Marlin Bray, R.A. Harper, Elbert Hilton and Alvin Hilton.
