Reddout *********************************************************************** Obit for Hazel Velma Forbes Womack Services for Hazel Velma Forbes Womack, 86, of Houston, were held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 3, in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Mrs. Womack was born November 30, 1914, in Marietta, the daughter of Jake and Cora Forbes. She died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at her home in Houston. She had been a resident of Houston since 1946. Mrs. Womack was a longtime member of West University Baptist Church, an active participant in Houston Civic Arts Association and an accomplished artist and doll maker. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Henry Onard Womack; one sister, Leta Faye Wilkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Patricia Womack and Milton and Mary Anne Womack; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Robert Dibbern; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild. Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by her daughter, Velma Faye Urbanek; her mother and father; seven sisters and one brother. Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were the granddaughters. Services were under the direction of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, Houston.
