Reddout *********************************************************************** Obit for Ida Alexander Services for Ida Alexander, 79, of Manteca, California, were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, in the P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home in Manteca. Mrs. Alexander was born December 7, 1922, in Marietta. She died Thursday, March 7, 2002, at her home in Manteca. She had been a resident of Manteca for over 35 years. Mrs. Alexander retired from Sharps Army Depot in 1976 as an accounting clerk. She enjoyed traveling the world, gardening, and her roses. Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Manteca Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include three sons, Richard Alexander of Burson, California, Alan Alexander of Manteca, and James Alexander of Arvada, Colorado; a brother, Winston Thomas Warthen of Marietta; and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Alexander; and a sister, Winona Stewart. Interment was in Parkview Cemetery, Manteca, under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, Manteca.
