All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Jackson, Emma Frances Miller Emma Frances Miller Jackson, 96, left us to join Wilbur, her late husband, on November 6, 2006, in Mesa, AZ. Frances grew up in Oklahoma and pursued a teaching degree. She began her teaching career at 18 years of age in Oklahoma, met and married Wilbur in 1939, moved to Hobbs, New Mexico, and had one son, Miles, in 1940. In August 1940, the Jackson family moved to North Hollywood, California, where Frances taught until retirement in 1975. Frances taught 1st and 2nd grades for 40+ years. She loved her many children as much as they loved her. In August 1979, Frances and Wilbur relocated to Mesa, Arizona. Emma Frances Miller Jackson was born in Marietta, Oklahoma in 1910. She was the daughter of the late Mollie Black Miller and Charles E. Miller. She is survived by her son, Miles (Carol) Jackson, and grandchildren, Trey (Wendy) Jackson and Jillian Jackson. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Frances will be held at 2PM, Friday, November 24, 2006, at Grace United Methodist Church, 2024 E. University Drive, Mesa, Arizona.
