Reddout *********************************************************************** Obit for John Brady Stevens Services for John Brady Stevens, 94, were held Thursday, April 19, at Lawnheaven Memorial Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas. Mr. Stevens was born February 1, 1907, at Loco, Indian Territory, Oklahoma, the son of William T. and Ida Preskitt Stevens. He died Sunday, April 15, in San Angelo. He and Jewel Stubbs were married December 23, 1928, in Bowles, and she preceded him in death in 1994. Mr. Stevens was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, John and Jo Stevens of Corsicana, Texas, William T. (Bill) and Ruthy Stevens of Tulsa, Earl and Roberta Stevens of San Angelo, Douglas and Francis Stevens of Alta Loma, California, and Ara Lee and Donna Stevens of Jemez Springs, New Mexico; a sister, Viola Pratt of Marietta; a brother and sister-in-law, Coy and Jane Stevens of Clarendon, Texas; a brother-in-law, Cecil Stubbs of Elmer; 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Stevens was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth, in 1999; two grandsons, Duane in 1966 and Darrell in 1974; and a great-grandson, Brandon in 1996.
