"Nita" Lilly Graveside services for Juantia E. "Nita" Lilly, 75, of Fort Worth, Texas, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 2, in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Mrs. Lilly was born March 13, 1926, near Ringling. She died Tuesday, January 29, 2002, at an Alvarado, Texas, nursing center. She and R.E. Lilly were married in 1948. Mrs. Lilly worked for the Tarrant County Tax Assessors Office for many years, but was retired at the time of her death. She spent most of her adult life in Fort Worth, then the latter part in Joshua, Texas, before entering a care facility in Alvarado. Survivors include 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Lloyd Green and Marilyn Lilly of Joshua, and Sharon and Johnny Odom of Crandall, Texas; two grandchildren, Natalie and Nicky Odom; a sister, Joyce Corthay of Crowley, Texas; a niece, Cheryl Sisk and family of Springtown, Texas; and a nephew, Craig Corthay and family of Crowley. Mrs. Lilly was preceded in death by her husband in 1982, and a daughter, Anita Elaine Lilly, in 1954. Services were under the direction of Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth.
