All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Oak Mound Cemetery--Healdsburg CA Santa Rosa Press Democrat Published on May 25, 1995 ANNAGENE JONES Annagene Jones of Santa Rosa, whose hobby was raising teacup and miniature poodles, died Saturday at a Santa Rosa convalescent hospital. Jones, 87, a native of Marietta, Okla., lived 40 years in Sonoma County. She moved from Oakland after living in Oklahoma. "She loved to have poodles around," said her granddaughter, Heather O'Dell. Jones was a member of the Healdsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church. Even though she was blind, she had an annual garden. "She had a green thumb and could grow anything," said O'Dell. "She was best known for her humor, her quiet inner-strength and her ability to support and uplift her family," O'Dell said. Besides her granddaughter, Jones is survived by her sons, David O'Dell and Robert Matheny, both living near Yosemite; six stepchildren; numerous grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
