Zion Cemetery, Thackerville, with the Rev. Eldon Martin officiating. Mr. Jones was born May 9, 1965, at White Hall, Illinois, the son of William Richard and Margaret Lee Newingham Jones. He died Sunday, February 17, 2002, in Gainesville, Texas. He was raised in White Hall, Illinois, then moved to Sentinel, where he graduated from high school in 1983. Mr. Jones had been a resident of Thackerville for 16 years and was an employee of Parker Electric in Gainesville. He was a member of the Amateur Softball Association and the Oklahoma Game Breeders Association. Survivors include his mother, Margaret Lee Jones of Thacker-rville; five brothers, Ronald Jones of Fort Worth, Texas, Jack Jones of Kingston, Billy Jones of White Hall, Paul Jones of Muldrow, and James David Jones of Thackerville; and two sisters, Sharon Sampson of Thackerville, and Anne Christie of Azle, Texas.
