Anthony Sizemore officiating. Mrs. Martin was born September 17, 1929, in Colorado City, Colorado. She died Monday, February 18, 2002. She graduated from Denver University in 1949 and she and Fred Martin were married on December 21, 1949, in Floydada, Texas. They lived in Floydada and South Africa before moving to Lubbock in 1991. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Eastern Star, Women's Club of Lubbock, First Baptist Church of Floydada and several other organizations. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Katharine Mat Reynolds of South Africa; two grandchildren; two aunts, Mrs. J.O. "Boots" Martin of Marietta and Mrs. Elnora Clark of Ardmore. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a son, Dwane Mark Martin. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home, Floydada.
