Haynes McSpadden QUANAH - Leona G. Haynes McSpadden, 100, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of Christ with Larry DeLong officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. McSpadden was born March 11, 1903, in Burneyville, Okla. She married Kent McSpadden on Sept. 4, 1921, in Hardeman County. Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Duncan of Pierre, S.D., and Nelwyn Beakley of Rule; a son, John McSpadden of Quanah; a sister, Ethel Payne of Fort Worth; a brother, J.D. Haynes of Shreveport, La.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great- grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Westview Boys Home of Hollis, Okla.
