Ray Hilliard officiating. Mrs. Williams was born November 2, 1926, at Wilson and died February 1, 2000, at her home in Marietta. She was the daughter of Wiley Edmond and Bonnie Spencer Rhea. Mrs. Williams had lived in Marietta since 1942. She married Joe M. Williams on February 22, 1963, in Boswell. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by a daughter, Rita Gantt Teafatiller, Marietta; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and LaChrica Jones, Chandler; one brother, Bobby Joe Rhea, Bedford, Texas; two sisters, Wylene Wallace, Marietta and Lucy Welch, Kansas City, Missouri; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Joe M. Williams on May 9, 1987; two brothers, Jim Rhea in 1989, and George Henry Rhea in 1998; two sisters, Elouise Sherman in 1989, and Billie Dunn in 1988. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Marty Grisham, Jerry McGill, Vance McGill, Mike Welch, Eddie Wallace and Fred Sherman. Honorary bearers include Johnny Hood, Troy Davis, Floyd Johnson, Eldridge Colston, Crawford Cameron, Bill McGehee, Jack McGehee, David McGehee, Rudolph McGehee, Norman Flanagan and Travis Givens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Kennedy Funeral Home.
