Obit for Walter "Buster" Reynolds

Services for Walter "Buster" Reynolds, 77, of Gainesville, Texas, were Tuesday
at 10:00 a.m. in the Thackerville Church of Christ with Murray McMurray
officiating.

Born February 6, 1922, at Thackerville, the son of Roy W. and Rachel Brown
Reynolds, Mr. Reynolds died April 9, 1999, at his residence.

He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army, a member of the Local
Union #429, a Past President of the National Chilocco Indian Agricultural
School Alumni and a 34-year member of A.A.   Mr. Reynolds was also a member of
the Thackerville Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hammer of Gainesville; three sons, Walter Ray
Reynolds, Thomas Dean Reynolds and Phil Reynolds, all of California; three
daughters, Carrol Lopez of Denton, Texas, Mary Jane Reynolds of California and
Susan Brown of Hawaii; two sisters, Zona Thurman and Willie C. Ohlson of
Gainsville; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.

Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Marvin Leon Reynolds;
two sisters, Juanita Reynolds and Oleta McAfee; and a brother, James Reynolds.

Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville, was directed by Clement-Keel
Funeral Home, Gainesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Home Hospice of Cooke County, P.O. Box
936, Gainesville, TX.
