Marriage for Lacy Leigh Lemons and Justin Laird Carroll

Lacy Leigh Lemons and Justin Laird Carroll exchanged wedding vows March 25,
2000, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Tommy Higle at Marietta's First
Baptist Church.  Nupital music was presented by Virginia Higle and Mary Ortez.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Chris Lemons of Marietta and Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Carroll of Ardmore.  Grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lemons and Flo
Giddens of Marietta and the late Robert Giddens and Betty Carroll and Tilda
Laird of Ardmore and the late James O. Carroll and Raymond Laird.

The bride wore a V-neck gown with a fitted bodice embellish-ed with appliques
and pearls. Satin covered bridal buttons accented the back of the dress with a
bustle bow and rosettes. Designs of battenburg lace and pearls trimmed the
gown's full skirt and cathedral train.  Her fingertip-length tulle veil was
attached to a crown of pearls.  She carried a bouquet of miniature roses and
baby's breath.  All bouquets and flowers were handmade by her grandmother,
Mildred Lemons.

Serving the bride as matron of honor was Keisha Lemons of Roff, sister-in-law
of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Colston and Codi Culwell, both of
Marietta, and Miche Laughlin of Ft. Hood, Texas, sister of the groom.

Serving the groom as best man was Jim Carroll of Ardmore, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Shane Lemons of Roff, brother of the bride; Chris Neill of Lone
Grove, and Ryan Williams of Ardmore.

Ushers were Cody Gillham and Marshal Harmon of Marietta.

Other members of the wedding party included flowergirls and ringbearers Justine
Bowman and Clifton Laughlin of Ft. Hood, Texas, niece and nephew of the groom;
and Kaylynn and Bailey Cook of Marietta, cousins of the bride.

Junior flowergirls were Ryleigh Harmon and Jayli Smith of Marietta.
Candlelighters were Cara Colston and Sara Franklin of Marietta.  Kyler Gillham
and Skye Foster, both of Marietta, were also part of the ceremony.

A reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church.  Assisting were
Brandi Neill, Lone Grove; Monica Haines, Oklahoma City; Michele O'Neal, Lorry
Hull, Joni Randell, Jammi Jo Fincher, Misty Clough and Farah Woody, Marietta.

The couple honeymooned in San Antonio, Texas.  They make their home in Lone
Grove.
