McHendry, died at the family home in this city Sunday, September 15, 1907. Little Claris was born in Ames December 27, 1906 and was 8 months and 19 days old when she passed away after a week’s illness from erysipelas, complicated with other ailments. She was a bright, sweet, little one, an only daughter and a joy to the parents who are now called to mourn her loss. The funeral service was conducted at the Cimarron Valley Church Monday afternoon by Rev. Williams of this city, and the burial took place in the cemetery there, many sorrowing relatives and sympathizing friends witnessing the ceremony. A darling one from us has gone, A voice we loved is still, A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled.
