McHendry. The Rev. Riley Phillippe officiated at a memorial service 3 p.m. Sunday in the Strode Funeral Home Chapel for Estel Stanford McHendry, who has been missing since September 5, 1974. He was born Feb 21, 1905 at Ames, OK the son of Jake and Susie McHendry. He was married to the former Stella Watson, June 16, 1934 at Enid, OK. After their marriage they lived in Enid area and then came to Stillwater in 1953. He retired as a farmer and hay hauler. Surviving are six sons; Ira of Fairmont, Otis Dean of Shirley, N.Y., Curtis of Olympia, WA, Ellis of 1410 E Third, Donnie of Rt. 1 and Joe of Broken Arrow. Four daughters, Mrs. Lavena McDermott of Noble, Mrs. Bonnie Luginbill of 1415 Cedar Drive, 28 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Note: Some contradictions in this obit compared to that of wife.
