McHENDRY Stillwater- (Exact Date and News Paper Name Unknown) Graveside service for Stella Vivian McHendry, 80, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater. The Rev. Dave McCracken will officiate. Arrangements are by Strode Funeral Home. She was born March 13, 1915 in Leedey to Perry and Laura (Gouse) Walton and died Sunday Nov. 12, 1995 at the Westhaven Nursing Home, Payne County. She spent her early life in the Ames and Ringwood areas, living all her life in Oklahoma. She moved to Stillwater in 1951. On June 16, 1934, she married Estel S. McHendry in Enid. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Estel; six sons, Ira Lee of Fairmont, Otis Dean of Shirley, N.Y., Curtis G. of Olympia, Wash., Ellis F. of Stillwater, Donnie of Edmond and Joe of Coweta; three daughters, Bonnie Luginbill of Mounds, Leota Fay Burrows of Stillwater and Levena McDermatt of Moore; 28 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
