MARVIN L. MCHENDRY Mrs. Marvin L. McHendry, 78 died in A Denver, Colo., hospital Tuesday, following a period of ill health. She will be returned to Enid today by the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home with service time to be announced later. A native of Kansas, she came to Oklahoma as a young child and moved to the Ames Community. There, she married the late Marvin L. McHendry. She and Mr. McHendry moved to Enid where they continued to live for about 50 years. She then moved to Denver following the death of her husband some 2 1/2 years ago. Mrs. McHendry was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Seth (Oletha) Greeley and Miss Agnes McHendry, both of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. J.D. (Laura) Moore, Drummond, and Mrs. Lillie Turnbeaugh, Ames; three brothers, Bert Sturgeon, Ames, Henry Sturgeon, Central Point, Ore., and Otho Sturgeon of Hennessey; and one granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Self, Terre Haute, Ind., and three great-grandchildren. {Note: John D. and Laura Moore (named above) are also buried at Ames Cemetery.}
