At Princeton, Indiana, Mr. Nairn was joined in marriage to Menerva White. to this union were born three children, Walter, Jennie, and Joe, the latter being present at funeral service. Two of the children still survive. From Indiana, Mr. Nairn and family moved to Kansas, from there to Oklahoma. In the year of 1901, Nov, 6th, Mr. Nairn was united in marriage to Laura Valentine. To this union three children were born, Pearl Agnes, James Earl and Hursel Lee, who with the mother survive to mourn the loss of the father and husband. Mr. Nairn was a kind and affectionate husband and father, a valuable neighbor and a worth-while citizen. Having lived at the present home for many years, time has made it possible to establish many intimate friendships with old settlers. Rev. Ray W. Ross, pastor of Waynoka Methodist church conducted the funeral services at the home Sunday afternoon, Feb. 17th. Burial was made in the country cemetery located on the Barkhearst farm. A large gathering of neighbors and fiends were present, together with beautiful floral decorations, manifested tokens of friendship and sympathy.
