Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Texline Cemetery in Texline, Texas, by Hass Funeral Directors. Mr. Steen was born April 4, 1917, in Amistad. He worked at Clayton Cattle Feeders as mill manager for 29 years. Survivors include two sons, Charles Steen of Smithville, Texas, and Danny Steen of Longview, Texas; a daughter, Edith Dickerson of Amarillo; five sisters, Lola Barnhart of Pierce City, Mo., Ina Mae Thomas of Amarillo, Texas, Doris Julia Stoudt of Raton, Nita Bailey of Nara Visa and Naoma McCormick of Ringwood, Okla.; three brothers, James Oliver Steen and Norman Steen, both of Dumas, and Vernon Sager Steen of Dalhart, Texas; three stepsons, Bill Barton of Payette, Idaho, Ronnie C. Barton of Tuolumne, Calif., and Bobby R. Barton of Waldo, Ark.; three stepdaughters, Dorothy Rush of Amarillo, Kathy Valentine of Springer, and Jo Ann Carwile of Waldo, Ark.; 31 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
