D. Whiting and Lillian Dale Sacra. He graduated from Madill High School in 1926. He attended college for two years at Oklahoma A and M and Austin College, Sherman Texas. He married Ethel Claudine Williams in 1937 in Oklahoma City. She was born in 1910 in Granite to the late Anderson Williams and Mrs. Minnie Williams. Claudine died in 1968. They lived in Bells, Texas on a ranch, which had been in the family for several generations. Son and Claudine raised the daughter of his sister Noweta Clementine Whiting. Susan Dale Weems was welcomed into their home and treated as a daughter throughout their lives. They loved and enjoyed her as if she was truly their on daughter. They were always very proud of her. Noweta was born in Madill in 1915. She graduated from Madill High School in 1932. She then attended Southeastern State College for one year. She later married William Weems in 1936. They had one child, Susan Dale Weems Taylor, born on May 7, 1940 in Hollywood, California. Noweta and William later divorced and she married George Underwood in 1952. They had one child, Francis Lisa Underwood in 1953 in Dallas, Texas. Susan Dale Weems was raised in the home of Son and Claudine and graduated from Sherman High school.
