Mr. Anderson died last Thursday night following an extended period of ill health. Kevin Cyer officiated for services from Watts Memorial Chapel. Lois and Connie Cryer presented the music with Louise Brady as organist. Burial was in Woodberry-Forest Cemetery. Mr. Anderson was born Nov.9, 1906, in Sherman, Tex. He was reared there and married Roberta Lone, June 1, 1929, in Hugo. The Andersons moved to Colorado where they lived 47 years. He had worked as a machinist most of his adult life and was a member of the Christian church and Masonic Lodge. Other than his wife of the family home in Madill, Mr. Anderson is survived by three children, Barbara Ann Spinning of Auburn, Calif., Mary Martha Card of Glendale, Calif.,and William Edward Anderson, Jr., of Mathis, Tex. Also surviving are two adopted sons, Richard and Russell Anderson, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four brothers, Oscar Anderson of Gordonville, Tex.; Martin and Milburn Anderson, both of Colorado and a sister, Dovie Anderson, of Denver, Colo.
