The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Mrs. Bourland is Buried Tuesday Lived in County Over 60 Years Funeral services were held at the Willis school last Tuesday for Mrs. Francis Emma Bourland, pioneer Marshall county resident, who died at her home in the Fob community Sunday. George S. Henry, Kingston, had charge of the services. Interment, with Watts Funeral Home in charge, was at the new Willis cemetery. Mrs. Bourland , a member of the Church of Christ since early in life,had lived in the Willis community over 60 years. Her husband, Henry Bourland , died in 1929. Surviving are two sons, Ben, of Yuma , Ariz; Howard, Oklahoma City; two daughters,Mrs. Lee( Luther) Henson, Madill; Mrs. Clema Long, Willis; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great -grandchildren; and one sister,Mrs. Lela Thorne, Walters. Escorts of the casket were Charley Henry, Mr. Hickman, Roy McDonald, Tom Herndon, Andy Harrison, Sid Cryer, Howard Bearden and Oscar Fultz. Madill,Ok. news , January 1943.
