BRYANS MEMORIAL RITES HELD LAST FRIDAY 7/3/1952 Memorial services were held for a well-known Marshall county man, Frank R. Bryans, last Friday afternoon, June 27 at 3:00 p.m. Mr. Bryans was born in Ft. Smith, Ark., August 31, 1878. He died at his home in Cumberland Thursday morning, the 26th of June. He moved to Marshall county when he was three years old and had lived in the Cumberland vicinity untill his death. He had been in ill heath for the past ten years. Early Thrusday morning, Mr Bryans stepped out into his yard and dropped dead of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Frank R. Bryans, and one son, Weldon Bryans, both of Cumberland. Also surviving are one grandchild Joe Ann Bryans and one sister, Mrs. Minnie McGaugh, Cyril. Services were held at the Cumberland Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Underhill officiating. A.B. Eddington was in charge of the singing. Burial was at the Cumberland Cemetery with the Watts Funeral Home in charge..
