Mary Gene Hamilton
       
Mary Gene Hamilton, 58, of Edna, died Tuesday in a Victoria hospital
following a short illness. Funeral services will be at 10 am. Thursday at
the Apollo Drive Church of Christ in Edna with Herbert Hahn officiating.
Mrs. Hamilton was born July 31, 1927, in Oakland, Okla. She had lived in
Edna since 1945. She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Hamilton of Edna,
whom she married on May 26, 1946. Surviving in addition to her husband, are
her mother, Mrs. Willie Leslie of Edna; three daughters, Kathy Davis, Linda
Rebak and Leslie Hamilton all of Edna, two sons Harvey J. Hamilton of
Floresville and Gary M. Hamilton of Houston; a brother, William J. Leslie
of Winnie; and five grandchildren.
