Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- MADILL RECORD MARCH 22, 1962 RITES SATURDAY FOR TAMS LYNN, FORMER COUNTIAN Tams Berry Lynn, A long-time Marshall county resident, was buried Saturday afternoon in the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery following the rites held in Watts Memorial Chapel. Rev. Herbert Davis, Ardmore, officiated in the services for the well known Ardmore resident, who was born and reared in this county. Lynn was born January 1, 1901, in the Lone Elm community in Marshall county. He was reared in Lebanon and was married to Miss. Clara Rhodes in Marietta on February 18, 1933. They lived in Lebanon several years then moved to Madill and remained there until moving to Ardmore. Lynn had been in ill health for about five years preceding his death Thursday in his Ardmore home. Singing was arranged by Auburn Paregien and organist was Mrs. Robbie Lee Watts. Pallbearers include Clyde Orr, Pete Rhodes, Elbert Griffin, General Kizziar, Bruce Biggers, Rex Strickland and Arthur McCrory, Ardmore. Lynn is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Lynn, Ardmore, Three sisters, Mrs. Marie Campbell, Vallejo, Calif., Mrs. Odie Beavers, Broken Bow, and Mrs. Mabelle Ables, Ardmore; his step-mother, Mrs. Mattie Lynn, Madill; and two half sisters, Mrs. Guy Eva Hallmark, Lone Grove, and Patsy Ruth Lynn, Madill.
