GILL'S FUNERAL HELD SATURDAY AFTERNOON Services were held Saturday afternoon for Jesse H. Gill, 97, who died Thursday afternoon in a Madill Hospital. Mr. Gill was born April 7, 1884, in Arkansas and was reared there. He later lived in Hooker and Wichita Falls, Tex. Mr. Gill was married to Hazel Lynn Sept. 28, 1927, in Madill after moving to Marshall County in 1924. Me. Gill has been an Oil Field Driller and a Water Well Driller. He was a member of the Madill Church of Christ for many years. Mr. Gill's death follows a year of illness. He is survived by his wife of the home; three daughters, Helen Jane Hensen of Jal, N.M., Jessie Schultz of Portland, Ore. and Alma Jordon of Olympia, Wash., and a brother, Charles Gill of Topeka, Kan. Mr. Gill is also survived by 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. R.L. Lemmons officiated the services from Watts Memorial Chapel. Music was arranged by Lucille Murray. Burial was in the Woodberry- Forrest Cemetery. Casket escorts were Oren and Joe Witherspoon, Chester Tucker, Frank Massey, Omer Sherrill and Garnet Noell.
