Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- MADILL RECORD FEBRUARY 9, 1922 (Laura Lynn Passed Away Thursday Here) (Had Been In Bad Health For Several Years;) (Returned Here In June From West; Buried Friday) Laura Belle Lynn, 27, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Lynn, Passed away at the farm home of her parents Southwest of Madill at 9:00 o'clock last Thursday evening after an illness of six years. Almost six years ago, the deceased became ill and went to El Paso, Texas and to points in New Mexico and Arizona for her health. For a time she improved in her health and recovery was thought possible. Last year Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Lynn and family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where they could have their daughter with them. They returned in June 1921, their daughter returning with them. Laura Belle Lynn was born in what is now Carter County, but was reared in Marshall County. She attended the public schools in Madill and later attended Ward-Belmont College for women in Nashville, Tennessee. The deceased is survived by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. E.B. Lynn; three sisters; Durla, Winnie and Margery; five brothers Wiley U., Willie A., Worley B., Pearlie, and Buster. Misses. Durla and Winnie Lynn are employed under Justice Kennamer at Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church at 2:00 o'clock Friday, the Rev. Cutherson of Denison, Texas, conducting the service. Interment was had in Woodberry-Forrest Cemetery.
