Lynn dies quite suddenly) (Pioneer apparently had recovered from illness) Sudden death came to Elsie B. Lynn at his home West of Madill, in the Weaverton Community, around 7 o'clock Thursday evening. Mr. Lynn had eaten supper and walked into the living room and sat down on the day bed. He was found dead shortly afterwards by Mrs. Lynn. Funeral services were held at 2;30 Saturday afternoon at the Madill Church of Christ, with George Henry, Superintendent of the Kingston School in charge, and burial was made in the Woodberry-Forrest Cemetery. Watts Funeral Home directed the Funeral. Pall Bearers were Dave Jones, Wesley Fox, R.J. Coats, all of Madill, and Ralph Sartin, O.W. Pareign and A. M. Monroe all of Weaverton Community. Special Singers were Mr. and Mrs. Earl E. Ayers, J.D. Leeper, Mr. and Mrs. John Landram, C.T. Morris, Mrs. J.T. Pratt and Mrs. Clyde Lynn. Survivors of Mr. Lynn are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Welch Henderson, Madill; Mrs. Clifton Cassidy, Dallas, TEX. and Mrs. Mike Twomey, Flushing, N.Y. and three sons, Buster Lynn, Madill; Willie Lynn, Davidson Okla., and Worley Lynn, Hobart. All the children were present except Mrs. Twomey of New York. Mr. Lynn is also survived by a number of grandchildren. Mr. Lynn was apparently in good health when death came. Only a few weeks ago he was ill with influenza and was not expected to live, but had recovered from this illness. He was 75 years old. Mr. Lynn, a Pioneer Citizen of Madill and Marshall County. He was born Near Nashville, TN. August 1857. He came to the Country when 20 years old, and was married to Miss. Ida Bell Johnson at Gainesville, Texas in 1880. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn have made their home in or near Madill the past 35 years.
