Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- MADILL RECORD SEPTEMBER 9, 1982 (Dorothy Watkins Native of Madill Dies at Hobart) Dorothy Watkins, 69, a native of Madill, died last week at her home in Hobart. Funeral services for Mrs. Watkins were conducted Friday at the Hobart First United Methodist Church, Bob Healy officiated. Burial was in the Hobart Cemetery. Mrs. Watkins was born Aug. 30, 1913, in Madill. She was employed with the Oklahoma Education Association several years before retiring in 1978. She was married to Merle Watkins Aug. 23, 1936. Mr. Watkins survives. Also surviving are two sons, David and Gordon Watkins, both of Orange, Calif.; a daughter Janice Prestage, of Choctaw and five grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, Gordon Lynn of Datona, Fla., and W.B. Lynn of Vian and a sister, Carol Evans, of Bowie, Tex.
