Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- MADILL RECORD MAY 11, 1933 (Weaverton Farmer Dies Unexpectedly) (Heart Disease Fatal To A.H. Huff, Prominent Citizen) Albert Harrison Huff was found dead in his bed at the family home in the Weaverton Community shortly before 4 o'clock Wednesday, morning. His death is attributed to heart disease. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 today (Thursday) at the local Church of Christ with George Henry, Superintendent of the Kingston Schools, in charge. Burial will be in the Woodbury-Forrest Cemetery. Watts Funeral Home will direct the funeral. Mr. Huff had planted cotton all day Tuesday and was in good health apparently when he retired Tuesday night. Some member of the family went to his bed to awake him for breakfast and found him dead. It is thought he has been dead only a short while. Mr. Huff was born near Jefferson City, Mo. Aug. 18, 1873. He was almost 60 years old at the time of his death. On December 22, 1895, he was married to Miss. Dessie Lynn. Mr and Mrs. Huff have made their home in the Weaverton Community all their married life. He was a prosperous farmer. Children surviving Mr. Huff are three sons. Walter, Madill; and Dillard and Ira Huff, both of the Weaverton Community. His wife and mother also survive. One sister and four brothers survive, as follows; Mrs. Sherman Haught, Bristow, Oklahoma; John Huff, Tolbert, Texas, Joe Huff, Midway, Oklahoma; Lon Huff, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, and Will Huff, Iowa Park, Texas. All will be present for the funeral services except the later who is ill. Five grandchildren also survive.
