Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- MADILL RECORD JULY 28,1932 Pioneer Oakland Resident is dead--- (Paralytic Stroke Fatal To Mrs. Lynn) After suffering from a paralytic stroke since March 1. death claimed a Pioneer resident of Oakland, Mrs. Emma Lynn, 78, at the home of her son, John Lynn, Sunday. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Oakland, Monday afternoon. Rev. Thomas. E. Milholland, who has recently closed a revival meeting at the local Church of Christ, from Denton, Texas, was in charge of the services, and was assisted by Judge Stobaugh, Tishomingo, and Rev. O'Neal of Clarita, Okla., who is now conducting a revival at Oakland. Special singing was furnished by Earl E. Ayres, Madill; Mrs. Juanita Ewing, Madill; Roy Hollingsworth,Norman, and Mrs. Ruth Edgar and Mrs. Maude Hewitt of Oakland. Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased, including Elmore and Floyd Lynn, of Tishomingo; Doss Lynn, Clemscott; Tom Johnson, Oakland; Harold Lynn, Durant, and J.L. Hawkins, Denison, Tex. Surviving Mrs. Lynn are five sons and three daughters, as follows; J.Y. Lynn, Oakland; O.W. Lynn, Tishomingo; G.C. Lynn, Clemscott; C.A. Lynn, Durant; Mrs. Haven Hughes, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Flavis Milholland, Dallas, Tex. and Mrs. Fay Hawkins, Denison, Tex. She was the mother of seventeen Children. Watts Funeral Home of Madill was in charge of the arrangements
