Dick Lynn a 66 year old native of Oakland, died early Wednesday morning at his home in Oakland. Death came after Lynn apparently suffered a heart attack. Funeral services for the longtime county resident were pending Wednesday. Service arrangements will be announced by Watts Funeral Home. Mr. Lynnwas born January 28, 1907, in Oakland. He was reared there and attended Oakland and Madill schools. For many years the native Countyan worked as an oilfield driller. In more recent years he devoted his life to the Church of Christ ministry serving as a preacher in Oakland and Blue Churches. He and his wife, the former Elizabeth Cornelison were married July 27, 1928 in Tishomingo. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Lynn pioneer resident of the Oakland area. In addition to his wife of the family home in Oakland, Mr. Lynn is survived by a son, Gerry Lynn and two grandchildren, Terry and Tim all of Broken Arrow; and three sisters, Mrs. Lena Powell and Mrs. Lazelle Cornelson both of Oakland and Mrs. Mary Feeney of Grand prairie.
