FUNERAL RITES AT OAKLAND CHURCH ON TUESDAY. Mrs. Mattie Alice Lynn, 59 Years old, died at her home in Oakland about 3 O'clock Monday afternoon, following an illness of about ten years. Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. B.H. Elsey, local Baptist Pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Madill-Oakland Cemetery, with Watts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Special singing was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. John Landram, W.W. Fondren and Mrs. F.L. Rice. Flower bearers were Mrs. O.B. Perryman, Mrs. Ira Ivy, Mrs. W.L. Scribner, Mrs. Walter Huff, Mrs. Gladys Russell, Miss. Beatrice Leslie, Miss. Naomi Johnson and Mrs. Charlie Wilson. pallbearers were Bert Colby, Bud Maxey, Walter Marshall, Joe Hannan, John Glenn, J.W. Jennings, T.Z. Splawn and Alonzo Stanley. Her immediate survivors are her husband, C.A. Lynn; Three sons, Sam, and Clyde Lynn, Altus; Claude Lynn, Oakland, and one daughter, Mrs. Vera Bourland, Altus.
