Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- MADILL RECORD December 10, 1970 pg 1 Rites This Afternoon For Mrs. John Pratt Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Watts Memorial chapel for Mrs. Lillie Mae Pratt, life-long Marshall county resident who died Tuesday in a local nursing home. Mrs. Pratt had been in ill health for the past several months after suffering a stroke. Survivors include her husband, John, of the home in Madill. Also, two daughters, Mrs. Grady Crow of Madill and Mrs. Ken Messner of Texas City, Tex. Other survivors include two brothers, Dick Johnson of Oakland and Tom Johnson of Durant; three sisters, Mrs. Oma Green of Madill and Mrs Janice Ivy of Marietta and Mrs. Belle Townsend of Ardmore. She is also survived by three grandchildren. Rev. J.D. Walker will be in charge of the funeral services. Burial will be in the Oakland cemetery with Watts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pratt was born in the Weaverton community and was reared there. She was married to John Pratt on October 12, 1936. A resident of Oakland for many years, the couple moved to Madill about five years ago. She had been employed by the Davis pharmacy until a stroke incapacitated her. She had been a member of the Church of Christ since she was a young girl. Pallbearers will be Wre Alexander, James Davis, Jim Davis, Auburn Paregien, John Pierce, John Rorex, J.B. Thomas, Russell Williams and Ernie Booth.
