Lynn Dies At Oakland Home Last Thursday) James Albert Lynn, 75, died at his home in Oakland last Thursday. He was a Pioneer resident of this section, having moved to Mannville as a small boy and later to this county. He has lived in Oakland for a number of years. During his active life he was a farmer and construction worker, but retired several years ago because of ill health. Mr. Lynn had been a member of the Church of Christ for 50 years. Funeral services were held in the Oakland Church of Christ Saturday afternoon with Harvey Fike, Dallas in charge, assisted by Stanley Sayers and Otis Hilburn. Mrs. Dick Lynn was in charge of arranging the funeral music. Burial was in the Madill-Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Watts Funeral Home. Mr. Lynn was born in Pilot Grove, Tex., March 8, 1881. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. J.A. Lynn, of the home, four children Noel Lynn, China Lake, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Morin, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Wanda Carthcart, San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Jimmie Williamson, Tulsa, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Thelma McGill, Oakland. He is also survived by two brothers, Otis Lynn, Tishomingo, and CharlieLynn, Durant, and a sister, Mrs. Floy Milholland, Dallas, Tex., nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers for the Funeral were Dick Lynn,Tom Johnson, Cliff Green, Elmore Lynn, Kelley Powell, Jesse Moore and Aubrey Lynn.
