Lynn Dies Tuesday) Noel George Lynn a 68 year native of Oakland, I.T. and retired Civil Service employee, died early Tuesday morning. He had been in ill health several months as the result of cancer. Funeral services for Mr. Lynn will be conducted at 10 A.M. today (Thursday) from Watts Memorial Chapel, Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Lynn was born December 2, 1905. He was raised in Oakland, living there until about the time of World War II when he enlisted for service with the U.S. Navy. Following his Navy service, he took a Civil Service Position, remaining in California where he lived 25 years until his retirement in 1966. Following his Government service retirement, Mr. Lynn returned to Marshall County, making his home in Madill. He was named Secretary-Manager with the Chamber of Commerce after returning here. He held that position until he again retired. After retiring from the Chamber position, Mr. Lynn moved to Duncan for a time. He later returned here to accept the position as Manager for the newly opened Southpark Apartments, a position he held at the time of his death. A member of the Church of Christ since he was a young man, Mr. Lynn was also a member of the Madill Lions Club. Paul Shero, Madill Church of Christ Minister, will officiate for the funeral. Music will be under the direction of Tiny Lynn. Casket escorts for the service will be Jackie Bean, Ira Ivy, W.C. Butler, Curtis Halmark, Aubrey Lynn, Woodrow McGill, Lee McKinney, Hardin Meadows, AL Sims, Joe and Mark Young. Masonic services will be conducted at the grave-side by members of the Oakland Lodge. Mr. Lynn is survived by a daughter, Mrs Darlene Mulliner, of San Jose, Calif.; his mother Mrs. Madge Currier, of Madill; a half sister, Mrs.Jimmie Young, of Norman; A step-sister, Mrs. Thelma McGill of Oakland, and two grandchildren.
