Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- MADILL RECORD FEBRUARY 26, 1942 (FUNERAL HELD FOR SNODIE LEE ROGERS) (LIVED IN OAKLAND PAST 40 YEARS) Funeral services were held at the Oakland Church of Christ at 3 P.M. Monday for Mrs. Snodie Lee Rogers, wife of C.A. Rogers of Oakland, who died at an Oklahoma City hospital on Saturday. Mrs. Rogers had undergone an operation for Goiter on Friday morning. John W. Pigg, Minister of the Church of Christ, was in charge of the services. The Casket escorts were W.B. White, J.V. Walker, Joe Lee Walker, Joe Hannan, Lee McCasland, Emmett Pierce, G.A. Heubsch, Ernest Stout and Frank Johnson. Mrs. Rogers, a member of the Church of Christ since early in Life, had lived in and around Oakland the last 40 years. She was 59 years old. Surviving are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Claude Lynn and Mrs. Loran McGill of Oakland; Mrs. Geneva Lynn of Altus, and Mrs. Neda Moore of Linn; two sons, Leonard Rogers, Madill and Turner Rogers of Oakland. She also leaves four brothers, Boge Lynn, Madill; Aubrey Lynn, Oakland; John Lynn, Tulsa; and Tom Lynn, Savannah, Oklahoma.
