A retired business owner and real estate broker, Mrs. Robertson died in the Madill hospital. Her funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the Madill First United Methodist Church where she was a member. Larry Holder officiated for services. Burial was in Kingston. Arrangements were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home. Mrs. Robertosn was one of 10 children born to the late R.J. and Susan Attebery. She was born Feb. 18, 1903, at Hunt County, Tex., moving to Marshall County soon thereafter. She was reared and attended school in the Aylesworth area. During this period she owned and operated a grocery store and post office, serving as postmaster and held the position as vice president of the Post masters of Oklahoma. In 1942, she moved to Denison to become owner of a furniture store. She also became a real estate broker and was active until 1970 when she retired to Madill. While living in Denison, she served as president of the Board of Realtors, and with the Real Estate Board of Texas on the board of directors. She was active with the Wesley Class of Waples United Methodist Church in Denison and served as president of the XXI Club. Locally, she was president of the Madill Garden Club and Worthy Matron with the Eastern Star. Mrs. Robertson is survived by a brother, Dalton Attebery, of Edmond; a sister, Della Attebery, of Madill; three children, G.W. McAdoo of Irving, Tex., Sue Clayton of Houston and Cecil Robertson of Austin, Tex. Also, four grandchildren, Bruce and Ron McAdoo of Irving, Susan Fleming of Houston and Ashley Nowak of Enid, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. [note: died October 17, 1993]
