Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- Source: ---------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Lena Reese Surname: Tidwell, Collyer, Eaton Mrs Lena Reese Dies died September 26, 1974 Mrs. Lena Bell Reese, a 73 year old Kingston native and lifelong Marshall county resident, died Saturday morning. Funeral services for Mrs. Reese were conducted Monday afternoon from Watts Memorial Chapel. Red Lancaster of Gainesville officiated for the services. Music was under the direction of Bill Dunn with Johnnie Ruth Jacks as organist. Born March 15, 1901, in Kingston, I.T., Mrs Reese resided in the Madill and Kingston areas of the county throughout her life. She and Emet Reese were married August 24, 1918, in Madill. Mr. Reese died August 12, 1957. she was in an Ardmore hospital at the time of her death. Mrs Reese is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edna Tidwell and Mrs Lee Collyer, and a brother, Fred Eaton, all of Kingston. Pallbearers for the burial in Woodberry-Forest cemetery were Montie Blakely, Cecil Buck, Orval Hobbs, H.L.Luggle, Frank Massey, Pat Owens, Lewis Ratliff and Wendyl Watts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
