Richardson MADILL - Services for Linn William Richardson, 101, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Watts Memorial Chapel with Richard Jones officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. Richardson died following a short ilness March 25 1998, at the Oklahoma Veterans Center, Ardmore. He was born March 20, 1897, at Madill. A lifetime resident of Marshall County, he farmed and worked for the Post Office from 1945 until he retired in 1962. He then operated a lawn care service. He was a member of the Church of Christ and had been a member of American Legion Post No. 99 for 53 years. He served as Grand Marshall in the Veteran's Day Parade in 1993, at Madill. He and Dollie Pandora Smith were married Aug. 9, 1919, at Madill. Survivors include two sons, Leon, Kingston, and Linn Jr., Shreveport, La.; four daughters, Peggy Rushing, Marietta, Lucille catherine McKinney, Durant; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 10 great- great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 27, 1993; and a son, Ruel, in 1989. Grandsons will serve as bearers..
