Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ---------------------------------------------------- Source: ---------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Edna Tidwell Surname: Roberts, Mann, Eaton, Collyer Mrs. Edna Tidwell Dies; Funeral Held died June 16, 1975 Mrs. Edna Mary Tidwell, a 69 year-old Kingston resident, died Sunday in Ardmore. she had been in ill health six years. Funeral services for Mrs. Tidwell were conducted Tuesday afternoon from Watts Memorial Chapel. Marvin Lancaster officiated for the services with Anita Jones in charge of music and Johnnie Ruth Jacks as Organist. Mrs Tidwell was born March 5, 1906, in Bee, I.T., in Johnston county. She later moved to Madill and had lived most of her life in the county, living in Madill, Woodville and Kingston. She had worked as a restaurant cook several years. Her survivors include two children, Jessie Mae Roberts of Gainesville and Bill Mann of Achille; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Eaton, of Kingston, and a sister, Mrs Lee Collyar, of Madill. Casket escorts for the services and burial in Woodberry-Forest cemetery were Elmer Bailey, Rob Hawkins, Pat Owens, Louis Ratliff, Bob Remington and Jimmy Splawn. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
