Vaughn, 74 who died Monday at Tuttle. The service was conducted by Rev. Pruitt of Ninekah and intement was made in the Rush Springs cemetery, with Simons Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Vaughn wrote the following obituary four years ago, on June 9, 1929: "M.E. Vaughn was born in 1859. Married Dec. 23, 1880 to G.W. Vaughn Born to our union nine children, three girls and six boys. Two have gone on to rest, and a companion who is waiting for me. I joined the Medthodist church when I was 24, and then moved to Indian Territory. We had no churches or preacher only about once a year. About 15 years I have lived a devoted Christian life. My membership is at Rush Springs.
