He had his schooling in Los Angeles ("The town of the queen of the Angeles" ) population 5728. Married in the early 1900's, had 4 children 2 girls + 2 boys - he owned and operated a restaurant in Texas for a number of years. In his later years, he retired and made his home at Spavinaw, Okl. He came to Porterville, Ca in August of 1960 to spend the rest of his remaining years in the state in which he was born. He leaves a son Jack F. Kennedy 2810 Roby, a son Leslie Kennedy of U.S.A. stationed at Hawaii. One daughter Mrs. Mathel Harris of Big Springs Texas. ========= OBIT.(newspaper) ========== KENNEDY ----- In Porterville May 22, 1961, Andrew Jackson Kennedy, 96, native of Los Angeles county, resident of Porterville eight months : father of Andrew J. Kennedy Jr., Leslie Kennedy and Mrs. Methol Harris. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., May 26 at the Myers chapel. Interment to be in Hillcrest Memorial park. (my23t3)
