All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Adcock FH--Fairland OK The Grove Sun Daily MAGGIE LORENE FLINT 1920-2005 FAIRLAND, Okla. – Maggie Lorene Flint, 84, lifetime resident of the Fairland area, died at home Friday, April 15 after a lengthy illness. Flint was born August 17, 1920 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma to Joseph Brackston Cunningham and Viola Baker Cunningham. She married William Taylor Flint on June 28, 1940 in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1997. She was a homemaker and worked as an Avon Representative since 1960. She loved bowling and was a member of the First Christian Church in Fairland. Flint is survived by a daughter and her husband, Darlene and John Brock of Fairland; two granddaughters and their husbands, Angela and Ron White and Jennifer and John Looper, all of Fairland; a brother, Ted Cunningham of Grove; a sister, Delilah "Tiny" Wilmoth of Fairland; and six great grandsons, Owen Taylor Looper, Michael Looper, John Looper, Levi White, Wesley Holden, and Aaron White. A funeral service was held Monday, April 18 at First Baptist Church in Fairland with Rev. Andy Krebs and Rev. Geoff Buffalo officiating. A visitation was held Sunday at Adcock Funeral Home in Fairland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heaven and Earth Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
